In Progress: L'Oréal Headquarters by Jean-Michel Wilmotte

Started in 2009, new L'Oréal Headquarters' extension and renovation is in progress. I will limit this article to a rapid and short presentation. The building is designed by French architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte, one of the architects in charge of the construction of the French Minister of Defence.
The construction is announced to be completed in 2013.

The new building will be implanted on a two-hectare site. It will be organized around a vast garden. Large openings and vast volumes facing the garden, innovation and sustainability, functionality and aesthetics are some among the key elements of Jean-Michel Wilmotte's design.

Jean-Michel Wilmotte will be in charge of the modernisation of the working spaces, spaces dedicated for leisure,  the creation of a business center, the reshaping and extension of the auditorium, and the space dedicated to the restaurant.

The new L'Oréal Headquarters will respond to the HQE (French translation of High Environmental Quality).
