Jacobo Garcia-German explains his project as follows:

The peripheral condition of the site, a generic development of Madrid's northern extension, and the nearness of the n-1 road have suggested an enclosed shape that will try to become a new social "place" of local reference. Provided with visual identity due to its colour and materiality, it will attain a new symbolic and real centrality as a filter between the highway and the low-density fabric that surrounds the project.
